I was hoping for Fable to look more distinctive, the humour thankfully seems to be there but it just looks like any other fantasy game to me. Halo fans already saw it and there was plenty of grumbling that it wasn't nearly enough, and non-Halo fans would consider it the same as a Monkey Island DLC for SOT would be for people who don't care about Sea of Thieves. What about a DLC announcement for a game that even fans of the franchise aren't super hyped for? A Halo Season 4 trailer would just take more air out of the room, because nobody's gonna be excited. Like, people already talk about how deflated they were after DLC announcements for games they don't care about. The reaction to the Season 4 trailer is pretty much "It took them eighteen months to give us this"? A new gametype, new map, et cetera isn't going to really move the needle much if Forge only slightly boosted the numbers.

Major major stuff if your a fan of those games. A crossover with Monkey Island is awesome, and apparently Rare's letting you tackle it solo, without having to deal with random griefers blowing your ship up (which apparently was the case in the POTC DLC). Maybe they felt like focusing on entirely new stuff was a better idea?ī: By all appearances, the SOT/ESO/F76 stuff is really substantial-entirely new areas and storylines for ESO and Fallout. A: The Halo Infinite Season 4 trailer is not a "World Premiere"-they showed it at Halo Championship series.
